2011: birthday and wishlist
How on earth can we top 2011? 2011 was our 5th birthday as a band and we got everything on our wishlist: finally recorded the blikkuhsplit with our friends from the Shining and went on a crazy weekend (Blikkuhtour part III) to Scandinavia to celebrate it. Released a 50 song discography disc with everything we recorded so far and more, making us feel like rock stars. We went on tour to Southern Europe , the second part of our Euro tour, and played some of the coolest shows ever over there! Direct Control came over for the RR fest and we toured the EU together, which was a blast! Our st LP got released in the US
2012: new member, new record, tour
How to top that in 2012? Easy! In January CP’s fifth member will see the light of day! Yes Yes, it will be daddy Erikz from now on. Don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl yet, all we do know is its gonna have blond hair and can build or fix things before he/she starts to walk. Best news ever? I believe so!
Also early on in 2012, when we are still funky and fresh, we’re gonna record a new 7inch in february. What to expect? I think we were never so well prepared to hit the studio: we practised (!), even did a bit of pre recording stuff and practised some more! It’s gonna be a 5 or 6 song 7inch and maybe we’ll put a cover song on it aswell (guess! … Hint: its not Void) Stuff is gonna be fast, a bit more melody than usual and catchy as hell!
Planning some tours aswell, first fix the fucking van though before we can go anywhere. In the mean time, if you’re crazy enough to drive us around, let us know! See ya in 2012, one way or another….
